PICKLEBALL CLUB LADDERS

Welcome to the new Pickleball Club Ladders! We have three ladders - Men's, Women's, and Mixed.

Find a partner, sign up at the courts, and challenge other teams above you on the ladder whenever it suits. The ladders are open to all members of the Pickleball Club. 

The  primary purpose of the Ladders is to provide friendly competition within the Club. They will also be used to establish priority for teams to represent the Club in Club-sponsored inter-club matches.

Sign Up

1. Only Pickleball Club members may participate.

2. The ladders are for teams, so you need a partner for each ladder you want to join.
3.  You may only sign up with one partner at a time per ladder.
4. Sign up at the white board on Court 7. Write both team members' names on a magnetic label and place it below the bottom name on the ladder.
   
5. New teams will be placed where appropriate as determined by the ladder manager. Don’t worry about your initial placement on the ladder.  The rankings will sort themselves out as challenges are played.
   

Ladder Play

1. A team may challenge any of the 4 teams above them.
2. Contact the team you want to challenge. If you don't know them, check the Club Roster by logging in at lagunawoodspickleball.com or download the app* (Wild Apricot for Members)  for player contact information.
3. A challenge match will be 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
4. If the higher ranked team wins, no ladder movement will occur.
5.  If the lower ranked team wins, they will move into the higher ranked team’s position and those teams that were leapfrogged will move down one spot.
6. Integrity and sportsmanship should be the overriding principle for ladder play.
