This is a beginners' social event consisting of 16 players and one hour of play.
Players will draw random partner/court assignments and play one game or 15 minutes, whichever comes first. At the end of play, the winning team will stay on the court but separate. Losing teams will move to an adjacent court and separate.
Although scores will determine subsequent court/partner assignments, this is not a competition. It's a social event to bring players together -- on and off the courts! Net coaches will be on hand to answer questions and help with scoring, rules, playing strategies and techniques.
And there will be cookies and fruit on the patio for all to enjoy.
